Most Pragmatic Backpack Ever?
So this stumbled into my life today. A company has finally gone after the holy grail: designing bags that can do everything you might ever want them to do. Pete Dering and Art Viger of Peak Design break down their Everyday Backpack in this video outlining all the care and thought put into this backpack. (#bagporn) Check out their Kickstarter if you must have it. What a bag designer's dream; all the effort they put into designing custom hardware components and selecting the right materials- to the collapsable wall compartments and hidden straps. As a bag designer myself, I am always challenged to bring the right amount of fashion and function in each style in a collection. I especially love how they thought of people's need to do certain things one handed. Also I like how you can access the sides of the bag by swinging it around to your front- something I know I wished many times I could do with other backpacks. Bravo guys!
